In this study, it is aimed to determine whether there is a relationship between the perceptions of teachers about engagement to work and their perceptions about the effectiveness of the schools. In addition, according to the personal characteristics of teachers, it is important to determine whether there is a statistically significant relationship between teachers' perceptions about engagement of work and school effectiveness. Quantitative research was conducted in correlatıonal resarch type. The study population consisted of teachers working in high schools in the central district of Bolu in the academic year 2018-2019. The scale of engagement to work and the effective school scale were used in the study. Frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, Mann Whitney U test, Kruskal Wallis and Spearman Rho correlation analysis were used to analyze the data. According to the results of the research, I agree with the level of attitudes of teachers regarding their engagement to work, and the effectiveness of schools, I agree with the dimensions of manager, teacher and school environment education process but they are undecided about the effectiveness of students and parents. Significant differences were found between personal variables in terms of gender, age, seniority, type of school, and there was a positive and moderate significant relationship between teachers' engagement with the job and their opinions about the effectiveness of schools.
