In this research, the approaches of producers engaged in organic farming in Adıyaman and Gaziantep provinces to agricultural insurance were tried to be determined by means of a survey. For this purpose, face-to-face surveys were conducted with 84 organic agriculture producers in Gaziantep and 79 in Adıyaman. In the study, means and chi-square method were used in the evaluation of the obtained data. Variables affecting whether or not to have agricultural insurance were analysed by using logistic regression analysis. The most insured organic product in both provinces was pistachio, followed by olives, grapes, walnuts, almonds and pomegranates. It has been observed that the age group that has the most insurance is over the age of 46 and primary school graduates. It has been determined that the agricultural insurance status of the organic farmers in Adıyaman province is 0.501 times compared to the farmers in Gaziantep. The reasons for the producers to take out agricultural insurance are that their products are damaged a lot, they can look to the future with more confidence, there is a constant risk of disaster and the state supports the insurance as the reasons.
