Speech determiners (SBs) are uses that regulate written and verbal speech with different functions. The aim of this study is to identify the place and diversity of use of SBs in Turkish teaching as a second language. The method of research is the study of the status (example event) of the quality research patterns. Three different data sources have been used in the research process: the Turkish Teaching Program as a Foreign Language (TÖMER, 2015), the Half-Structured Lecturer Interview Form (OGF) and the Half-Structured Student Interview Form (ÖGF). All the conversations were recorded. Interviews with students are written in the CHAT translation format and coded formally. According to the created code lists of what the SBs they use are calculated by the CLAN program. The research has found that in the teaching program (TÖMER, 2015) and in the courses the SBs are not directly included, 3 out of 5 teachers are aware of this concept. It has been observed that some voices and words (e, the, the, the) are often used as SB to ensure fluency. However, it appears that some students often use the SBs in their own languages (as in both Arabic and Turkish, i.e.) when talking Turkish. The research results suggest that the structure of the speaking language and their functions are included in the Turkish language classes as a second language.
