Bu araştırmanın amacı işletmelerin tedarik zinciri entegrasyon düzeyinin işletme performansı üzerindeki etkisini incelemektir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda İstanbul Sanayi Odası’nın her yıl açıklamakta olduğu en büyük 500 üretim işletmesinden (İSO 500) anket aracılığı ile veri toplanmış ve işletmelerin entegrasyon ve performans düzeyleri ölçülmüştür. Toplam 127 üretim işletmesinden veri elde edilmiştir. Pearson Korelasyon ve Regresyon analizleri sonucunda işletmelerin müşteri entegrasyon düzeyi ve tedarikçi entegrasyon düzeyinin işletme performans düzeyi üzerinde pozitif yönde ve anlamlı etkisi olduğu saptanmıştır. Bununla birlikte, içsel entegrasyon düzeyinin işletme performansı üzerinde anlamlı bir etkisi bulunamamıştır. Ayrıca müşteri entegrasyonun işletme performansı üzerindeki açıklama gücünün ve etkisinin tedarikçi entegrasyonuna göre daha yüksek olduğu saptanmıştır. Elde edilen sonuçlara göre işletmelerin performanslarını arttırmak için içinde bulundukları tedarik zincirlerinde uzun dönemli işbirlikleri kurarak entegrasyon düzeylerini geliştirmeleri gerekmektedir. Ayrıca bu çalışma, işletmelerin tedarik zincirlerine bütüncül yaklaşmaları, özellikle müşteri entegrasyonunun işletme performansı üzerindeki yüksek pozitif etkisini anlama yönünde katkı sağlamaktadır
The aim of this study is to study the impact of enterprises’ supply chain integration levels on business performance. For this purpose, data were collected through the survey of the 500 largest production enterprises (ISO 500) that the Istanbul Chamber of Industry has announced each year and the integration and performance levels of enterprises have been measured. In total, 127 production companies have received data. Pearson’s Correlation and Regression Analysis found that the level of customer integration and the level of supplier integration has a positive and meaningful impact on the level of business performance. However, the level of internal integration has not found a significant impact on the operating performance. It has also been found that customer integration has a higher explanatory power and impact on business performance than supplier integration. According to the results obtained,
The purpose of this research is to investigate the effect of supply chain integration level on business performance. For this purpose, data were collected from the top 500 manufacturing companies (ICI 500) announced by the Istanbul Chamber of Industry each year, and their integration and performance levels were measured. Data were obtained from 127 production enterprises. As a result of Pearson Correlation and multiple linear regression analyses, it was found that the customer and supplier integration level of enterprises had a positive and significant effect on business performance. However, the level of internal integration does not have a substantial impact on business performance. Moreover, it was found that the impact of customer integration on business performance was higher than that of supplier integration. According to the results, enterprises should improve their integration by establishing long-term collaborations in their supply chains to increase their performance. Besides, this study contributes to the holistic view of the supply chains of enterprises, especially the understanding of the high positive effect of customer integration on business performance.
