Abstract:

In this study, it was aimed to examine the work burnout of music teachers during the Covid 19 process in terms of some variables. Based on the causal comparison method in the research; In the Covid 19 process, the burnout levels of music teachers were compared according to the variables of gender, professional seniority, marital status and the type of school studied. The sample of the study consists of 243 music teachers working in private and state schools affiliated to Konya, Mersin, Ankara, Erzurum, Trabzon and Istanbul Provincial Directorate of National Education. Maslach Burnout Inventory was used to collect research data. According to the research findings, it was observed that the burnout of music teachers during the Covid 19 process was moderate. In addition, it was observed that the burnout of music teachers during the Covid 19 process showed a significant difference according to gender, marital status, professional seniority and school type. Based on the research results, suggestions were made to reduce the burnout of music teachers during the Covid 19 process.
