Abstract:

The Turkish language is often used in all periods and is often applied to strengthen the narrative. Saadet Çağatay used the term "hendiadyoin" for twilings. The first work on the twistings belongs to Karl Foy. Ahmet Cevdet Emre, in his book of language knowledge in 1945, talks about the twilings. In Turkey, at the beginning of the volume of work comes Vecihe Hatipoğlu's book "Diklimes in the Turkish language". This article was written in order to show together the work done about the two divisions. In this study, the literature was scaned and some of them were summarized. The scan consists of the texts, articles, reports and books written about the twistings. 30 theses, 106 articles, 29 statements and 7 books have been identified on the subject. Theses and articles are studied in three titles. In the works reviewed, it has been determined that the two divisions are working in almost every field. In the studies performed, it is seen that the two-dimensional classifications are studied in terms of phonetic, aliteration and sound characteristics, meaning, structure, language and their origins. At the beginning of voluminous works in Turkish is Vecihe Hatipoğlu's book "Reduplication in the Turkish Language". This article was written to show all the work done on reduplication. In this work, a literature review was conducted and some of them were summarized and given information. The scanning consists of dissertations, articles, papers and books written about reduplications. 30 dissertations, 106 articles, 29 papers and 7 book bibliographys have been identified on the subject. Dissertations and articles are examined under three titles. In the works studied, it was determined that reduplication were studied in almost every field. In studies, it is seen that reduplication classifications are examined in terms of phonetics, in terms of alliteration and sound characteristics, in terms of meaning, structure, language and their origin.
