Teaching as a profession has retained its importance in every era of the history. The expectations from teaching, which has been considered as the profession of educating individuals, has been grown in the development progress of the mankind. These expectations have formed the qualifications that teachers should have. The instructors who teach in the area of religion are subject to also some additional qualifications. The scholars in the continuum of the past eras have thoughts which reflect the characteristics of their era. In this context when their works are studied it is observable that varioustopics are covered such as the professional and moral qualificationsof teachers, understanding of discipline and the principles of instruction
