Özellikle üretim yönetimi alanındaki bilimsel çalışmalar, işletmeler için başlangıçta tesis yer seçiminin önemini vurgulamışlar ve en uygun yerleşimin üretim sonuçlarına olumlu etki yaptığını ortaya çıkarmışlardır. Bu nedenle bir işletme için en uygun tesis yerinin belirlenmesi öncelikli yapılması gereken fizibilite çalışmalarındandır. Bu konuda yapılan çalışmalara göre, çok kriterli karar verme ÇKKV yöntemleri kullanılarak en uygun yerleşimin yapılması mümkündür. Çalışmanın amacı, balıkçılık sektörü işletmelerinin özellikle karşılaştıkları tesis yeri seçimi problemlerinin değerlendirilmesi ve yorumlanmasında ÇKKV yöntemlerinin kullanılabilirliğini göstermek ve bu konuda araştırmacılara önerilerde bulunmaktır. Literatürde, Moritanya’daki balıkçılık işletmeleri için ÇKKV yöntemleri kullanılarak en uygun tesis yerinin belirlenmesine yönelik çalışmalara rastlanmamıştır. Bu çalışma ile özellikle Moritanya Balıkçılık İşletmeleri literatürüne katkı yapmak amaçlanmıştır. Çalışmada Moritanya balıkçılık sektörüne ait güncel veriler kullanılmıştır. Çalışmanın uygulama kısmında, Moritanya’daki kıt kaynaklı balıkçılık işletmelerinin nadiren ancak ayrıntılı hesaplamalarla belirlenmesi gereken en uygun konumda tesis yerinin belirlenmesi problemi için Kârlılık Karşılaştırma ve Analitik Hiyerarşi Prosesi AHP yöntemleri ayrı ayrı kullanılmıştır. İlgili veriler balıkçılık işletmelerinin yöneticilerinden sağlanmıştır. Bu balıkçılık işletmelerinin yöneticileri aynı zamanda karar vericiler olarak kabul edilmiştir. Moritanya’da ki balıkçılık işletmelerinin genel yapısı dikkate alınarak farklı iki yöntemle gerçekleştirilen analiz sonuçları birbiri ile örtüşmektedir. İlgili yöntemlerle gerçekleşen sonuçlara göre; en uygun tesis yeri A1 Nouadhibou birinci, A2 Nouakchott ikinci ve A4 Peka üçüncü sırada çıkmıştır. Analiz sonuçları ilgili balıkçılık işletmeleri ile paylaşılmıştır. Daha sonra yapılacak benzer çalışmalar için hibrit veya bulanık mantık temelli yöntemler kullanılabilir

As a result of the obtained findings, it is possible to make the most appropriate locating using multi criteria decision making MCDM methods. The aim of the work is to demonstrate the applicability of the MCDM methods in the evaluation and interpretation of facility location problems that are particularly encountered by fishing sector enterprises and to make recommendations to researchers in this regard. In the literature, no studies have been found for the determination of the most appropriate facility location for the fishing enterprises in Mauritania using the MCDM methods. This study aims to contribute especially to Mauritania's fishing businesses literature. Current data from the Mauritania fishing industry were used in the study. In the application part of the study, profitability comparison and AHP methods were used separately to determine the most appropriate facility location for the scarce fishing enterprises in Mauritania. These analyses rarely but require detailed calculations. The relevant data has been obtained from the managers of the fishing enterprises. The managers of these fishing enterprises were also considered as decision makers.By taking into account the general structure of the fishing establishments in Mauritania, the results of the analysis performed by two different methods overlap each other. According to the results of the related methods; the most appropriate facility location was A1 Nouadhibou first, A2 Nouakchott second and A4 Peka third. The analysis results are shared with the relevant fishing enterprises. In future, hybrid or fuzzy logic based methods can be used for similar studies
