Introduction: The food Human feeding pattern has gone through many changes during evolution. Objective: Check adults overweight and obesity profile considering body image and physical activity from a nutrition clinic in Brasilia. Materials and Methods: The analysis was based on: gender, age, weight, height, Body mass index (BMI), exercise profile and body image in 65 records (17 men and 48 women). The analysis was performed using the SPSS 15.0. Results: The average BMI among men was 30.2 kg/m² and among women 29.9 kg/m². Considering all patients, 60% do some physical exercise, while 40% do not. Among the inactive, body image showed 53.8% lower than the real, while in assets, was only 41%. The greater body image compatibility with actual BMI occurred between the younger (61.1%). In men, the compatibility percentage was lower (47.1%) than women (54.2%). Discussion: Half of all patients showed distortion of body image, being higher among inactive and men, confirming other studies findings, and pointing a body dissatisfaction. Further studies are suggested with Brazilian population more appropriate shapes scales. Conclusion: The sample showed low level of physical activity and body image distortion with underestimation it in BMI relation.
