Güvenlik insanlık tarihinden günümüze kadar kümülatif gelişime tabi bir konsept olagelmiştir. Bu durum güvenliğin zamanla ayrıntılı bir şekilde incelenmek ve sağlıklı projeksiyonlar oluşturabilmek adına çeşitli kollara ayrılmasına sebep olmuştur. Belirli bir döneme kadar kısıtlı bir şekilde sadece ulusal güvenlik üzerinden kavramsallaştırılan güvenlik konsepti, zamanla hem araştırmanın kolaylaşması hem de daha geniş bir çerçeve sunabilmek adına çeşitli kollara ayrılmıştır. Uluslararası güvenlik de güvenlik konseptinin kollarından birisisidir. Tıpkı ana güvenlik konseptinde olduğu gibi uluslararası güvenlik de çeşitli kollara ayrılmıştır. Enerji güvenliği bu kollardan birisidir. Enerji güvenliği konusunda yapılan araştırmalar literatürde arz güvenliği ile kısıtlı olduğundan enerji güvenliği literatürde yeterince geniş yer almamıştır. Bu nedenle ortaya çıkan bu çalışmada enerji güvenliğinin diğer kolları olan talep ve geçiş güvenlikleri de ayrı ayrı açıklanıp incelenerek enerji güvenliği konusunda tümevarım tekniği ile yeni bir araştırma ve inceleme stratejisinin oluşturulması amaçlanmıştır. Yapılan bir dizi nitel araştırma sonucu enerji güvenliği konusunun ayrı kollar halinde incelenmesi gerekliliğinin altı kalın çizgilerle çizilmiştir. Sonuç olarak bu çalışma ilerleyen dönemlerde enerji güvenliği konusunun yeni konseptlerle bağlantılandırılarak incelenmesi açısından önemli bir fırsat oluşturmuştur.
Security has been a concept subject to cumulative development since human history. This situation has caused security to be divided into various branches in order to be examined in detail and to create healthy projections. The concept of security, which was conceptualized only on national security until a certain period, has been divided into various branches over time in order to both facilitate research and provide a broader framework. International security is one of the branches of the security concept. Just like the main security concept, international security is divided into various branches. Energy security is one of these branches. Since studies on energy security are limited to supply security in the literature, energy security has not been included in the literature sufficiently. For this reason, in this study, it is aimed to create a new research and investigation strategy on energy security with inductive technique by explaining and analyzing demand and transit security, which are the other branches of energy security, separately. As a result of a series of qualitative researches, the necessity of examining the issue of energy security in separate branches has been underlined with thick lines. To conclude, this study has created an important opportunity for new researches to examine the issue of energy security by linking it with new concepts in the future.
