This study focuses on the relationship between work-family life conflict and job satisfaction. The purpose of the study is to determine the effect of perceived work to family conflict and family to work conflict on intrinsic job satisfaction, extrinsic job satisfaction and overall job satisfaction for employees working in tourism sector. For this purpose data for the sample was collected from 201 employees who are working in hotels and mansions in Safranbolu via survey method. Hierarchical regression analyses were conducted to test the hypotheses. As a result, it has been determined that work to family conflict has a negative and significant effect on intrinsic job satisfaction and overall job satisfaction. On the contrary, it has been identified that the effect of work to family conflict on extrinsic job satisfaction is statistically insignificant. Another finding of the study is family to work conflict has a negative and significant effect on intrinsic job satisfaction, extrinsic job satisfaction and overall job satisfaction.
