Amaç: Bu araştırma; hemşirelik öğrencilerinin özgecilik düzeyinin kan bağışı tutumuna etkisinin belirlenmesi amacıyla yapıldı. Gereç ve Yöntemler: Araştırmanın evrenini, Türkiye’de bir hemşirelik fakültesinde öğrenim gören 1200 hemşirelik öğrencisi oluşturdu. Araştırmanın örneklemi ise; tanımlanan evrenden araştırmaya katılmayı kabul eden, araştırma kriterlerine uyan ve olasılıklı örneklem yönteminden basit tesadüfi örnekleme yöntemi ile seçilen 321 öğrenci oluşturdu. Araştırmanın verileri Şubat-Nisan 2021 tarihleri arasında “Öğrenci Bilgi Formu”,“Özgecilik Ölçeği” ve “Kan Bağışı Tutum Ölçeği” kullanılarak toplandı. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde frekans ve yüzde hesapları, ortalama, standart sapma ve Pearson kolerasyon analizi yapıldı. Bulgular: Öğrencilerin “Gönüllü Faaliyetlere Katılım” alt boyutunun 25,28±5,95, “Maddi Yardım” alt boyutunun 23,84±4,34, “Travmatik Durumlarda Yardım” alt boyutunun 25,21±3,76, “Yaşlı/Hastalara Bakım” alt boyutunun 16,35±3,04, “Fiziksel Güce Dayalı Yardım” alt boyutunun 19,71±3,83,” Eğitim Sürecinde Yardım” alt boyutunun 19,76±3,83, “Yakınlık Duygusundan Kaynaklanan Yardım” alt boyutunun 20,60±3,27 olduğu belirlendi. Özgecilik ölçeği toplam puan ortalamasının ise 150.78±22,30 olduğu belirlendi. Ayrıca öğrencilerin “Toplumsal Sosyal Sorumluluk” alt boyutunun 52,46±8,09, “Endişe” alt boyutunun 28,27±5,82, “Toplumsal Görüş ve Anlayış” alt boyutunun 13,13±3,08 olduğu belirlendi. Kan Bağışı Tutum Ölçeği toplam puan ortalamasının ise 93,86±12,10 olduğu belirlendi. Özgecilik düzeyi ile kan bağışı tutumu arasında p<0,01 düzeyinde pozitif yönde bir ilişki olduğu ve bu ilişkinin istatistiksel açıdan orta düzeyde olduğu belirlendi. (r=,417**, p= ,000) Sonuç: Hemşirelik öğrencilerinin özgecilik düzeylerinin yüksek ve kan bağışına yönelik tutumlarının ise olumlu olduğu saptandı. Ayrıca; hemşirelik öğrencilerinin özgecilik düzeyi artıkça kan bağışına yönelik tutumlarının olumlu yönde arttığı belirlendi.
Purpose: This study was carried out to determine the influence of nursing students’ level of self-release on blood donation attitudes. Tools and Methods: The universe of research was formed by 1200 nursing students studying at a nursing faculty in Turkey. The sample of the study consisted of 321 students who agreed to participate in the research from the identified universe, who conform to the research criteria and who were selected by the simple random sample method from the possible sample method. The data of the study was collected between February-April 2021 using "Student Information Form", "Freedom Scale" and "Blood Donation Attitude Scale". The data was evaluated by frequency and percentage calculations, average, standard deviation and Pearson coleration analysis. Results: The student's "Volunteer Activities Participation" subdimension is 25,28±5,95, the subdimension is 23,84±4,34, the subdimension is 25,21±3,76, the subdimension is 16,35±3,04, the subdimension is 19,71±3,83, the subdimension is 19,76±3,83, the subdimension is 20,60±3,27 of the subdimension of the subdimension of the subdimension of the subdimension of the subdimension of the subdimension of the subdimension of the subdimension of the subdimension of the subdimension of the subdimension of the subdimension. The average score of the scale is 150.78±22.30. It was also determined that the student's "Social Social Responsibility" subdimensional is 52,46±8,09, the "Fear" subdimensional is 28,27±5,82, the "Social Opinion and Understanding" subdimensional is 13,13±3,08. The blood donation attitude measure was 93.86±12.10 and the average score was 93.86±12.10. It was determined that there was a positive relationship between the level of self-sufficiency and the blood donation attitude at p<0.01 and that this relationship was statistically medium. (r=,417**, p=,000) The result: Nursing students have a high level of personality and a positive attitude towards blood donation. In addition, the level of personality of nursing students increased their attitudes towards blood donation in a positive direction.
