Abstract:

Bu çalışmada üstbilişsel farkındalığı etkileyen olası faktörleri (sosyal biliş ve düşünme ihtiyacı) cinsiyet ve eğitim süreci gibi demografik değişkenlerle birlikte farklı yaş gruplarına göre gelişimsel olarak (beliren yetişkinlik ve genç yetişkinlik yaş dönemleri) incelemek amaçlanmıştır. Kültür Üniversitesi’nde okuyan rastlantısal örnekleme yöntemi ile seçilen farklı sınıf düzeyi ve yaş aralıklarında bulunan 19-29 yaşları arasında 228 kadın ve 215 erkek olmak üzere 443 kişilik bir örneklem grubu belirlenmiştir. Araştırmanın amacı ve hipotezleri temel alınarak iki bağımsız örneklemli t testine göre anlamlılık seviyeleri saptanmıştır. Tek ve çift yönlü varyans analizleri, çoklu regresyon analizi, pearson çarpım moment korelasyon analizi uygulanmıştır. Araştırma sonuçlarına göre kadınlar ve erkeler arasında üstbilişsel farkındalık açısından kadınların lehine istatistiksel açıdan anlamlı bir farklılık bulunmuştur. Kadınların üstbilişsel farkındalık puanları erkeklerden fazladır. Yapılan tek yönlü varyans analizi sonucuna göre, 3 ayrı gruba ayrılan yaş değişkeninde, bu grupların üstbilişsel farkındalık toplam puanları açısından aralarında anlamlı bir fark bulunmamıştır. Düşünme ihtiyacı ve üstbilişsel farkındalık arasında negatif bir ilişki bulunmuştur. Düşünme ihtiyacı ve sosyal bilişin üstbilişsel farkındalığı yordayıcılığında, düşünme ihtiyacı ters orantılı bir şekilde yordarken, sosyal bilişin üstbilişsel farkındalık üzerinde yordayıcı etkisine rastlanılmamıştır. Çalışma, zihin kuramı, sosyal davranış ile düşünüş ve üstbilişsel araştırmaların birleşerek yaşam boyu üstbiliş gelişimi çalışmalarının oluşumuna katkı sağlayacağı düşünüldüğü için önem taşımaktadır. ABSTRACT In this study, it was aimed to investigate the possible factors (social cognition and need for thinking) effect metacognitive awareness as developmental with demographics variables such as gender and education process (emerging adults and young adults). A sample group of 443 persons who were different grade levels and age ranges 228 women and 215 men, between 19-29 years of age, who were selected as random sampling method from the Kültür University. In analyzing the data Independent Samples t Test, Correlation Analysis, one and two way ANOVA, Multi-Regression Analysis were used according to Two-Way t Test at p < .05 significance level. According to the results of the research, a difference was found between women and men in favor of women in scores of metacognitive awareness. According to the results of one way ANOVA, there was no significant difference in total cognitive awareness scores between these 3 different groups of age. There was a significant negative relationship between the need for thinking and matecognitive awareness. The need for thinking has negative predictive effect on metacognitive awareness. The study is important that contributes to mind theory, social behavior - thinking and metacognitive researches as lifespend cognitive development studies.

Abstract:

This study aims to study the potential factors affecting supernova awareness (social awareness and need for thinking) along with demographic variables such as gender and educational process and the different age groups (defining adulthood and youth adulthood age periods). A sample group of 443 people, including 228 women and 215 men, between 19-29 years of age and different class levels and age intervals, was determined by the random sampling method studying at the University of Culture. Based on the purpose and hypotheses of the study, the significance levels were determined by two independent sampled t tests. Single and double-direction variance analysis, multiple regression analysis, pearson fragment moment correlation analysis have been applied. The research finds a significant statistical difference between women and men in terms of supernatural awareness. Women’s supernatural awareness points are more than men. According to the results of the one-way variance analysis, in the age variables divided into 3 different groups, there was no significant difference between them in terms of the total awareness points of these groups. There was a negative relationship between the need to think and the supernovaal consciousness. The need for thought and the supernova consciousness of social knowledge, while the need for thought is reverse proportionally, the supernova effect of social knowledge on supernova consciousness has not been found. Study, the theory of mind, social behavior, and thought and interconnective research are considered to contribute to the formation of lifelong interconnective development studies.
