Abstract:

Trade unions are civil society organizations seeking to gain the benefit of their members. In this context, the achievements to the benefit of the members may affect the satisfaction that the members of the trade unions hear from their trade unions, which may affect their tendency to show their commitments to their trade unions and their trade unions, which means their commitment to their trade unions, and their tendency to show their trade unions citizenship behavior. In this study, an empirical study conducted on 397 public employees associated with the MEB in Nevşehir province and the effects of members' trade union satisfaction, trade union commitment and trade union citizenship behavior were studied. The data of the study was collected through the online survey method and analyzed through road analysis in the framework of structural equality modeling. The results of the empirical research conducted found that the members’ levels of trade union satisfaction, trade union commitment and trade union citizenship behavior were generally high. It is concluded that the extent of benefiting from the union, which is the underdimensions of trade union satisfaction, has a positive and meaningful impact on trade union commitment and trade union citizenship behavior but the underdimensions of communication with trade union does not affect trade union commitment and trade union citizenship behavior in any way.
