Aim: To determine critical care nurses’ attitudes towards technology. Methods: This descriptive study was carried out with 69 nurses who had been working in intensive care units of a university hospital. Data were collected by a questionnaire to determine nurses’ demographic characteristic and ’Technology Attitude Scale’. Results: The mean age of nurses was 26.48 years, with a standard deviation 4.77 years. Of the nurses in the study, 30.4% were male, 69.6% were female and 53.5% had graduated from bachelor degree. The mean score of ’Technology Attitude Scale’ of the critical care nurses was found to be 3.67±0.54. There was no significant difference between critical care nurses’ gender, education and working year in nursing and the mean score of the scale (p>0.05). However, it was found that critical care nurses were hesitant on their comments that technology could reduce interaction among people and technology could alineate from people.
