Altı yüzyıllık bir zaman çizelgesine sahip Türkistan’dan Balkanlar’a, uçsuz bucaksız bir coğrafyaya ait olan klasik Türk şiiri, on dokuzuncu asra gelindiğinde nefesini tüketmek üzeredir. Çalışmamıza konu olan şair Seyyid Şükrî, klasik şiirin bu veda çağında yaşamıştır. Kerküklü şair, tek eseri olan ve günümüze tek nüshası ulaşan Dîvân’ını burada tedvin etmiştir. Günümüze kadar hakkında bilimsel bir çalışma yapılmamış olduğu görülen Şükrî’yi ve Dîvân’ını tanımak ve tanıtmak çalışmamızın başlıca amacı olmuştur. Bu doğrultuda, ilk önce şair ile ilgili bilgi içerebilecek kaynaklar taranmış, elde edilen kısıtlı malumat ile birlikte, şairin eserinde verdikleri ışığında hayatı ile ilgili ayrıntılı bir çerçeve çizilmiştir. Daha sonra şairin tek eseri olan Dîvân ve bu divanı günümüze taşıyan yazma nüsha tanıtılmaya çalışılmıştır. Üçüncü kısımda, eserden örnekler verilerek şairin edebî kişliği, üslubu ve etkilendiği şairler üzerinde durulmuştur. Yapılan çalışma sonucunda şairin bölge edebiyatı ve klasik Türk şiiri içindeki yeri tespit edilmiş on dokuzuncu yüzyılda, Kerkük’te yaşamış bir şair, günümüz klasik şiir araştırmacı ve okurlarının dikkatlerine takdim edilmiştir.
With a six-century timeline; from Turkistan to the Balkans, the classical Turkish poem, which belongs to an endless geography, is about to breathe when it comes to the nineteenth century. The poet, Seyyid Şükrî, who was the subject of our work, lived in this age of classic poetry. The main objective of our work was to recognize and promote the thanksgiving and the Devan, which has not yet been scientifically studied about it. In this direction, the sources that could first contain information about the poet were scaned, along with the limited material obtained, a detailed framework on his life was drawn in the light of what the poet gave in his work. After that, the poet’s only work, Dîvân, and this divan, which was brought to the present day, was attempted to be presented. In the third part, examples from the work are given on the poet's literary personality, style and the poets he is influenced by. The study found the place of the poet in regional literature and classical Turkish poetry; in the nineteenth century, a poet who lived in Kirkuk was presented to the attention of today's classical poetry researchers and readers.
Classical Turkish poetry, which has a time frame of six centuries and belongs to a vast geography from Turkistan to the Balkans, is about to consume its breath when it comes to the nineteenth century. The poet Seyyid Şükrî, who is the subject of our study, lived in this farewell era of classical poetry. The poet, who was from Kirkuk, prepared his Dîvân here. The aim of our study is to recognize and to introduce Şükrî and his Dîvân, on which scientific work has not been made until today. In this direction, firstly, the sources which may contain information about the poet were scanned and, along with the limited information obtained, a detailed frame about his life was drawn in the light of the information given by the poet. Then Dîvân which is the only work of the poet and the copy of the manuscript which has been published to this day has been tried to be introduced. In the third part, by giving examples from the work, it was aimed to understand the poet’s literary personality, style and influences of poets. As a result of the study, the place of poet in regional literature and classical Turkish poetry was determined; a poet who lived in Kirkuk in the nineteenth century was introduced to the attention of contemporary poetry researchers and readers.
