Bu çalışmanın temel amacı, Jean Jacques Rousseau’nun Emile ya da Eğitim Üzerine eserinden hareketle, Türkiye’deki Z Kuşakların Eğitiminde Ailenin Rolünü belirlemektir. Araştırmada Z kuşağı ve Jean Jacques Rousseau’nun Emile ya da Eğitim Üzerine eseriyle ilgili doküman incelemesi yoluyla veriler toplanmıştır. Elde edilen dokümanlardan Rousseau’nun eserine ulaşılabilirliği göz önüne alınarak, İsmail Yerguz (2009) ve Yaşar Avunç’un (2009) çevirisini yaptığı Emile ya da Eğitim Üzerine kitapları araştırma kapsamına alınmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda, Emile ya da Eğitim Üzerine eserde Rousseau’nun, günümüz Z kuşakları ailelerinin eğitimlerine destek çıkacak ve onlara rehber olacak düşüncelerin yer aldığı görülmüştür. Bu görüşlerin Z kuşağı ailesinin çocuk eğitimine önemli katkılar sağlayacağı düşünülmektedir.
The main objective of this study is to determine the role of the family in the education of the Z generations in Turkey, based on Jean Jacques Rousseau’s work on Emile or Education. The study collected data through a document review of the generation Z and Jean Jacques Rousseau's work on Emile or Education. Given the availability of Rousseau's work from the documentation obtained, the books on Emile or Education, translated by Ismail Yerguz (2009) and Yaşar Avunç (2009) were included in the research scope. The research has found that Rousseau’s work on Emile or Education contains ideas that will support and guide their families from today’s Z generations. These opinions are believed to be a significant contribution to the education of the family of the generation Z.
