Abstract:

The tourism sector is the headquarters of business branches that provide significant currency income and employment in both the global economy and the country’s economy, and is also one of the most important business areas in the service sector. However, tourism is never just an economic business area. Turkey is one of the most important tourist centers in the world with its numerous and diverse tourist potential. The number of foreign tourists and the total tourist returns have been taken into account in this study, which is examined according to the types of transport of tourists to the destinations that Turkey has; according to the tourist flow, the distribution of the Tourist Transport Authority Documents has also been examined. It has also been studied by content analysis of tourism transport vehicles used in tourism transportation and the scope and numbers of authority documents and distribution according to tourist areas. The data used for the research is official, open to the public; World Trade Organization, United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), World Trade Organization (WTO), UNECE, T.C. Ministry of Culture and Tourism, T.C. The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure, E-Government Gate, TÜIK, and other institutions and organizations related sector associations and unions have been obtained. Therefore, it meets the highest ethical standards and does not require a decision of the Ethical Board. The research is important because there is no similar study in literature, the tourism transport authority documents and some proportional calculations related to tourism, Turkey tourist destinations are important because of the reasons that they offer findings to increase the efficiency of transport infrastructure. According to the research findings; tourism flow and intensity and tourism transportation Authority Documents and tourism transportation vehicles have not shown a homogeneous distribution, there are considerable regional differences in distribution, there is a tourism transportation that has more capacity than tourist destinations. On the other hand, the Tourism Transport Authority Documents and the number of tourism transport vehicles have been observed formed in the framework of the short-term market conditions and the temporary supply and demand balance rather than planning and design.
