Abstract:

Purpose: This study was conducted within the local wealth population in the region, with the aim of identifying the varieties that may be of high market value and providing literature. Materials and Methods: In this study conducted in 2018, the pomological and morphological characteristics of the local species of grapes cultivated in the Ardeşen district of Rize were determined. The work has been carried out in 10 local varieties, including Kalınsap, Kiraz, Yaşar, Cereal, Mehmetali, Eğrisap, Gudel, Silverhane, Rizeyabani and Honey. 15 amounts of fruit were taken from these local varieties, for measurements and analyses. Research findings: Measurements and analyses made in the samples of the fruit taken; the fruit weight of the local varieties is between 47.71 grams (Greek) and 138.5 grams (Greek Sap); the fruit is 44. of 25 mm. It is 65.88 mm. In the range; the length of the fruit 43.10 mm. 76.55 mm of grain. In the range (Rize Wild) it is determined that the hardness of fruit meat has varied from 1.18 kg/cm2 to 5.87 kg/cm2 (Year). SCHM (water-soluble dry substance) was found to be in the range of 8.4 % (Egri Sap) to 14.4 % (Bal); the amount of vibrable acid was also found to be in the range of 0.13 % (Gudel) to 0.36 % (Gudel) and the range of pH 4.0 (Gudel) to 5.35 (Gudel). The results of some mineral element analysis in the samples of the fruit were also studied between Cu 4.02 ppm(Mehmetali) and 7.11 ppm(Egrisap), Fe 7.06 ppm(Egrisap) and 17.55 ppm(Rize Wild), Mn 1.48 ppm(Mehmetali) and 2.90 ppm(Rize Wild). Results: The statistical assessment for the purpose of comparing the pomological and morphological characteristics of the local grape varieties found that the grape weight of the fruit, the grape of the fruit, the length of the grape of the fruit, the thickness of the grape of the fruit, the number of grapes, the grape of the grape of the house and the length of the grape of the house made a significant difference.
