Kur’ân’a ve Kur’ân ilimlerine hizmet etmenin büyük bir fazilet sayılması, Müslüman âlimleri bu sahaya yönelik yapılacak tedris, telif, tedvin ve tasnif faaliyetleri noktasında oldukça iştahlandırmıştır. Aynı şekilde Osmanlı Devleti’nin son dönem âlimleri de Kur’ân’a ve Kur’ân ilimlerine, söz konusu amacın bir gereği olarak fazlasıyla hizmet etmişlerdir. Bahsi geçen Osmanlı âlimlerinden biri de hayatını âdeta Kur’ân’a ve kıraat ilmine adayan Molla Mehmed Emîn Efendi’dir (öl. 1275/1859). Kıraat ilmini, ilk hocası şeklinde kabul edilen babasından aldıktan sonra memleketinde bu sahada temayüz eden ulemâyı sıklıkla ziyaret etmiş ve onların ders halkalarına mütemadiyen katılarak anılan alanda yetkin bir konuma yükselmiştir. Bu makale hayatının sonraki dönemlerini tam manasıyla kıraate hasreden Molla Mehmed Emîn Efendi’nin kıraat ilmindeki yerini ve bu ilme yönelik katkılarını ortaya koymayı amaçlamaktadır. İki ana bölümden oluşan bu araştırmanın ilk bölümünde müellifin hayatı, eserleri, hocaları, öğrencileri gibi biyografik birtakım bilgiler aktarılmıştır. Ikinci bölümde ise müellifin kıraat ilmine katkıları, yetiştirdiği öğrenciler ve eserleri üzerinden tespit edilmeye çalışılmıştır.

This article aims to reveal the place of Molla Mehmed Emîn Efendi in the story of the next periods of his life and his contribution to this knowledge. In the first part of this study, which consists of two main sections, a biographical set of information, such as the life of the teacher, works, teachers, students, was transmitted. In the second chapter, the teachers were able to identify the contribution of the creator to the creator, the students and the works he taught.
