Abstract:

This study aims to evaluate how society 5.0, which aims to integrate the new technologies discussed in the context of Industry 4.0 with people’s daily lives and society, is addressed in literature. According to this, a visual study was conducted, and 27 articles in the title or keywords "Society 5.0" and "Society 5.0" passed a sample of the study. The analysis found that the most articles were published in 2019, the academics conducting their studies concentrated in Japan where the concept was born, the majority of the articles were designed in the form of literary study, and the topics in which the studies were focused could be classified in the form of society, work life and technology. However, it can be said that a deep conceptual discussion on the subject is necessary.

In this study, it is aimed to evaluate how society 5.0, which aims to integrate new technologies discussed in the context of industry 4.0 with people’s daily lives and society, is handled in the literature. Accordingly, a descriptive research was carried out, and 27 articles that included “society 5.0” and “toplum 5.0” in the title or in the keywords, constituted the sample of the study in question. As a result of the analysis, it was determined that the most articles were published in 2019, the academicians who conducted the studies concentrated in Japan, where the concept was born, most of the articles were designed as a literature review, and the subjects focused on the studies could be classified as society, working life and technology. However, it can be said that a deep conceptual discussion on the subject is currently needed.
