Abstract:

It requires to explain some issues in order to understand how Safavids has reached from‘Lodges’to the earthly power. To understand the Safavids ancestors Sheik Safi and the political and social conditions of his period (İlkhanıds) will help us in that matter. Besides that, location of sect in İran and how İranians heading to sect according to the historical conditions in the period of stagnation is very important. Sufism movements have become very common in the periods of Mongoland and it also attracts the attention of society and community managers. Sufism means a person recognizing himself or herself and it is also a perspective about existence like religion and philosophy. Sufism in Islâmîc world has two positive and negative meanings: 1. To leave world to devote himself/herself to Allah affected by the others sufi ideas 2. To attach importance to the status of society and community by developing himself/herself and making leadership in the historical events. Safavids have been effective on the community and society by understanding these conditions. Safavids are the first sufi people who reached from the lodges to the world reign. Safavids have created a common feeling by using the Imam Shi’ism. For that reason it requires to understand Imam Shi'ism which comes for their help, in order to recognise Safavids. The person who wants to dominate Iran, firstly has to express his perspective to the sect. Before Safavids period, governmental representatives of Iran have combined religion and state but Safavid Sufi people have become the first state that have combined Shi’ism with their own state management
