Tefsirin yöntemine ilişkin önemli detayları tefsir mukaddimelerinde bulmak mümkündür. Bu da tefsir mukaddimelerinin incelenmesini ve derinlikli ele alınmasını önemli kılmaktadır. Bu sebeple de tefsir mukaddimelerinden yararlanmak, tefsir usulü meselelerinin daha iyi anlaşılmasına katkı sağlamaktadır. İbn Cüzey’in tefsir mukaddimesi de bu açıdan zengin bir içeriğe sahiptir. Bu çalışma, İbn Cüzey’in tefsir mukaddimesinde ele aldığı önemli meselelerden olan tefsirin mahiyeti, ilişkili olduğu ilimler ve tefsir ihtilafları meselelerine ışık tutmaktadır. Zira bu meseleler, onun tefsir anlayışını yansıtan önemli konular arasında yer almaktadır. Ayrıca o, bu konuları doğrudan tefsir usulüyle irtibatlandırmaktadır. Bu açıdan bakıldığında onun bu meselelere yaklaşımının ortaya çıkarılması, zikredilen meselelerin tefsir usulü açısından öneminin anlaşılmasına katkı sağlamasının yanı sıra, onun mukaddimesinde ele aldığı bu meseleleri pratik anlamda tefsirine ne denli yansıtabildiği konusuna da açıklık getirmektedir. Bu bağlamda İbn Cüzey’in tefsir mukaddimesinde irdelediği mezkûr konulara dair tespit ve iddialarını, tefsirine ne denli yansıtabildiğinin ortaya çıkarılması için tümevarım yöntemine başvurulmuştur. Tespit edildiği kadarıyla İbn Cüzey’in mukaddimesinde tefsirin mahiyetine ilişkin ortaya koyduğu mefhumun, onun tefsirinde pratik karşılığı mevcuttur. Bunun yanı sıra tefsirin ilişkili olduğunu belirttiği fıkıh usulü ve hadis gibi ilimleri amelî anlamda tefsirine yansıtırken; tasavvuf gibi ilimlerin ise tefsirle nasıl ve ne şekilde ilişkili olduğuna dair tefsirinde ortaya koymadığı görülmüştür. Ayrıca tefsir ihtilaflarının sebepleri ve çözüm yollarıyla ilgili ortaya koymuş olduğu yönteme tefsirinde ağırlıklı olarak bağlı kaldığı tespit edilen noktalar arasındadır.
It is possible to find important details about the method of tafsîr in the tafsir introductions. This makes it important to examine the tafsir introductions and discuss them in depth. For this reason, benefiting from tafsîr introductions contributes to a better understanding of methodology. Ibn Juzay’s introduction to tafsir also has a rich content in this respect. This study sheds light on the nature of tafsîr, the sciences it is related to, and tafsir disputes, which are among the important issues discussed by Ibn Juzay in his introduction to tafsîr. Because these issues are among the important subject that reflect his understanding of interpretation. Moreover, he directly connects these issues with the method of tafsîr. From this perspective, revealing his approach to these issues not only contributes to understanding the importance of the mentioned issues in terms of exegesis procedure, but also clarifies the extent to which he can reflect the practical interpretation of these issues that he deals with in his introduction. In this context, the inductive method was used to reveal to what extent Ibn Juzay was able to reflect his findings and claims regarding the aforementioned issues, which he examined in the introduction of his tafsîr. As far as it has been determined, the concept put forward by Ibn Juzay regarding the nature of tafsir in his introduction has a practical equivalent in his tafsîr. Furthermore, while reflecting the sciences such as the method of fiqh and hadith, which he states that tafsir is related to, in his tafsir in a practical sense; It has been observed that sciences such as Sufism do not reveal in his tafsir how and in what way they are related to tafsir. In addition, it is among the points that have been determined that he mainly adheres to the method he has put forward regarding the causes and solutions of interpretation disputes in his interpretation.
