Abstract:

As a result of the developments in the fields of technology, globalization and digitalization, virtual teams have become an essential part of many sectors. The transformations in information and communication technologies provide new opportunities for to create and manage virtual teams. These types of teams consist of individuals from different sexes, experiences, cultures and geographical locations. Virtual teams are defined as working groups where members are located in more than one location, where information and communication technology is used to common objectives, where individual efforts and input are shared through technology. In this work will be done a comprehensive literary work on the virtual teams. It will also include titles that include the definitions, types, examples, advantages and disadvantages of the virtual team. This has been used for the past work of the virtual teams. The research in the academic field is predicted to be in the identity of the compilatory and defining facts in order to fix the lack of literary summary on virtual teams.
