Mohammad-Hossein Shahriar, one of the strongest word possessors of Turkish World, brought great revival and an unrepeated national spirit in to literary life of South Azerbaijan thanks to his poems and rhymes he wrote in Turkish language. His poem "Heyderbabaya salam" ("Greetings to Heydarbaba"), so well-known among people, has been recited with love since it was written and is the subject of non-finishing research works. Shahriar was born in a country where the regime confronted Turks, Turkism and oppressed Turks who lived in Iran. Despite being far from his birthplace - Tabriz city - for a long time he had never forgotten his native Turkish language and traditions. That very peculiarity made him fond of the creative work of M.A.Sabir, Tofig Fikret and Mehmet Akif Ersoy, master-poets of Turkish world. Many times in his interviews the master underlined his admiration to these poets. As soon as we read the first verse of the poem "Turkiyeye xoyali sofor" ("Imaginary trip to Turkey") we evidence the master's miss and admiration to Mehmet Akif : (I have come to a pampered crescent country, To Fikret's tiny imaginary country. Akif's march has made my eyes wet, I am looking at Yahya Kamal's country) This report is about love of Shahriar, who always called himself a Turk and visited Turkey in his imagination, toward the work of Mehmet Akif Ersoy, the immortal poet of Turkish world; as well as about the poems "Tiirkiyoye 'avail safer" ("Imaginary trip to Turkey") and "Tiirk &lath qeyrot vaxtidir" ("Turkish child, it is courage time") and about Shahriar's love to Turkish language and its beauty.
