Türkçe Dersi Öğretim Programı incelendiğinde her temada bir dinleme metninin yer aldığı görülmektedir. Bu metinler aracılığıyla öğrencilere etkili dinleme becerisi kazandırılmaya çalışılmaktadır. Çünkü dinlemenin hem bireysel gelişime hem de sosyal etkileşime etkisi bulunmaktadır. İlk kazanılan dil becerisi olan dinleme, diğer dil becerilerinin de temelini oluşturmaktadır. Bu sebeple bireylerin zihinsel süreçlerinin şekillenmesinde onların kullandıkları dinleme yöntemleri önemli konumda bulunmaktadır. Dinleme etkinliklerinde yazılı bir metnin bulunmaması kelime öğretimi açısından ek yöntemlerin kullanılmasını zorunlu kılmaktadır. Not alma, sözlük oluşturma, eşleştirme, bağlamandan yararlanarak anlamı tahmin etme, oyunlaştırma, kompozisyon yazma bu yöntemlerden en çok tercih edilenleridir. Bu araştırmada nitel yöntemlerden doküman incelemesi kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda 6. Sınıf Türkçe Ders Kitabı’nda bulunan dinleme etkinliklerinin Türkçe Dersi Programıyla uyumlu şekilde olduğu ve bu etkinliklerde bağlamdan yararlanarak kelimenin anlamını tahmin etmenin en çok kullanılan yöntem olduğu görülmüştür. Ayrıca not alma yönteminin, eşleştirme yapmanın, kompozisyon yazmanın da dinleme etkinliklerinde kelime öğrenme yöntemi olarak kullanıldığı tespit edilmiştir.

When the Turkish Lesson Curriculum is examined, it is seen that a listening text is included in every theme. Through these texts, students are encouraged to gain effective listening skills. Because listening has an effect on both individual development and social interaction. Listening, which is the first language skills, forms the basis of other skills. For this reason, listening methods used in shaping the mental processes of individuals are important. The lack of a written text in listening activities requires the use of additional methods in terms of vocabulary instruction. Taking notes, creating a dictionary, matching, guessing meaning by using context, dramatization, writing compositions are the most preferred methods. In this research, document analysis was used among qualitative research methods. As a result of the research, it was seen that the listening method used in the 6th Grade Turkish Lesson book was the most widely used method to predict the meaning of the word in accordance with the Turkish Course Program. In addition, it was used the method of note taking, matching and writing of compositions in listening activities.
