Abstract:

In this study, it is aimed to analyze the article studies carried out using the 3E, 4E, 5E or 7E learning model in the field of science education in Turkey between the years 2000-2021 with content analysis. 117 articles were examined in the study. The studies examined in the research were analyzed by classifying them according to the year of publication, research methods, research designs, sample groups, sample sizes, data collection tools, data analysis methods and study subject areas. The data obtained as a result of the analysis were presented in tables and graphics and interpreted. As a result of the research, it is seen that the studies on 3E, 4E and 7E learning models in the field of science education conducted between 2000-2021 have decreased gradually in recent years, while the number of articles on the 5E learning model has increased in recent years. It was determined that mostly quantitative research method was used in the research, quasi-experimental design was used as the design, the majority of the studies were conducted with secondary school or high school students as the study group, and mostly with 41-60 participants. In the studies examined, data analyzes were carried out with the t-test, where mostly achievement test, attitude scale and interview form were used as data collection tools. In the studies examined, it has been determined that academic success is the most researched subject. For further research, it is recommended to examine the studies using 3E, 4E, 5E or 7E learning models in the field of international science education.
