Doğu Anadolu Bölgesinde Yetiştirilen Bazı Elma Genotiplerinin Antioksidan Özellikleri

Türkiye, orijin merkezi olarak adlandırılan gen merkezlerinden küçük Asya ve Akdeniz gen merkezlerinin sınırları içerisinde yer almaktadır. Gen merkezleri arasında kabul edilen Doğu Anadolu Bölgesinin yumuşak ve sert çekirdekli meyve türlerinin primer gen merkezi olduğu bilinmektedir. Kaynakların aşırı kullanımı, kirlilik, iklimsel değişiklikler, gelişme baskısı gibi çevresel tahripler ve genetik erozyon gibi nedenlerle zengin kaynaklarımız hızla kaybolmaktadır. Biyolojik çeşitliliğin korunmasında ekosistemlerin bir bütün olarak korunması temel yaklaşımdır. Ancak, bu kaynakların yalnızca korunması değil aynı zamanda değerlendirilmesi, sürdürülebilir kullanımı, kayıt altına alınması ve toplumun da bu kaynakları bilinçli olarak koruması önemlidir. Bu genotipler üzerinde detaylı araştırmaların yapılması ve çeşit tescili yönündeki çalışmaların yapılması önem arz etmektedir. Bu çalışmada Doğu Anadolu Bölgesinin sahip olduğu elma genetik kaynaklarının antioksidan kapasitesinin incelenmesi hedeflenmiştir. Yapılan analizlerde 57 genotip arasında toplam flavonoid miktarı 113.56-1 136.06 mg-1kg, FRAP (The Ferric Reducing Ability Of Plasma= Fe3+ İndirgeme Gücü) 136.04-802.44 μmol-1g ve DPPH (2,2-Difenil-1-pikrihidrazil) % inhibisyon 10.59-91.01 arasında bulunmuştur. Çalışma sonucunda elma genotipleri arasında farklılıklar olmakla birlikte tiplerin çoğunlukla yüksek antioksidan kapasiteye sahip oldukları ortaya koyulmuştur.

Turkey is located within the boundaries of the small Asian and Mediterranean genetic centers of the genetic centers called the center of origin. It is known that the eastern Anadolu region, which is considered among the genetic centers, is the primary genetic center of soft and hard-core fruits. Our rich resources are rapidly disappearing due to causes such as overuse of resources, pollution, climate change, environmental disturbances and genetic erosion. The conservation of biodiversity is a fundamental approach to the conservation of ecosystems as a whole. However, it is important not only to protect these resources but also to evaluate, sustainable use, recording and the society to consciously protect these resources. It is important to carry out detailed research on these genotypes and to carry out studies in the direction of the registration of varieties. This study aimed at studying the antioxidant capacity of the apple genetic sources that the East Anadolu region possesses. In the analyses of 57 genotypes, the total amount of flavonoids was 113.56-1 136.06 mg-1kg, FRAP (The Ferric Reducing Ability Of Plasma= Fe3+ Downloading Power) 136.04-802.44 μmol-1g and DPPH (2,2-Difenyl-1-Pikrihydrazil) inhibition was 10.59-91.01%. The study found that there were differences between apple genotypes, but the types mostly had high antioxidant capacity.

The conservation of ecosystems as a whole in the conservation of biological diversity is the basic approach. However, it is important that these resources are not only protected, but also assessed, maintained and recorded, and that the community consciously protects these resources. It is important to carry out detailed research on these genotypes and to carry out studies on variety registration. In this study, it is aimed to investigate the antioxidant capacity of apple genetic resources of Eastern Anatolia Region. Among the 57 genotypes in the analysis made the total amount of flavonoids was found to be 113.56-1 136.06 mg-1kg, FRAP (The Ferric Reducing Ability of Plasma= Fe3 + Reduction Power) 136.04-802.44 μmol -1g and DPPH ve DPPH (2,2-Difenil-1-pikrihidrazil) % inhibition 10.59-91.01.
