Abstract:

Fosil temelli yakıtların kullanılması küresel ısınma, asit yağmurları ve hava kalitesinin azalması gibi çevresel problemlere yol açmaktadır. Diğer yandan, fosil yakıtlara aşırı bağlılık ülkelerin enerji arz güvenliğini de tehlikeye sokmaktadır. Son yıllarda hidrojen, hem çevresel hem de ekonomik açıdan önemli bir yakıt alternatifi olarak dikkat çekmektedir. Bu bağlamda, çalışmada hidrojen enerjisi ve ekonomisi konuları genel olarak tanıtılmakta ve Avrupa Birliği, Litvanya ve Japonya’nın hidrojen ekonomisine geçiş için yaptığı çalışmalar incelenmektedir.
