Metinlerarası kavramı 1960’lı yıllarda ilk kez Fransız yazar Julia Kristeva tarafından kullanılmış, postmodern dönemin birçok eserinde de yaygın olarak uygulamıştır. En geniş anlamıyla bir metnin içinde başka bir döneme, yazara veya üsluba ait metinlerin yer alması olarak tanımlanabilecek metinlerarası ilişkiyi roman, hikaye gibi türlerin yanı sıra oyun metinlerinin dramatik yapısında da görmek mümkündür. Tiyatro sanatının sinema ve teknoloji ile yarıştığı çoksesliliğin esas alındığı bu dönemde oyun yazarları anlatı dilinin veya üslubun da günümüz seyircisini yakalayacak şekilde olması için yeni arayışlara girerler. Bu bağlamda metinlerarası anlatım tarzını tercih eden oyun yazarları başka metinlerdeki karakterleri, olay örgüsünü vs. kendi kurgu dünyalarının dinamiklerine uygun bir şekilde dönüştürerek seyirciye/okuyucuya sunar.Türk oyun yazarı Serhat Yiğit’in kaleme aldığı İkinci Katil ve İsrail’li oyun yazarı Ephraim Kishon’un yazdığı Tarla Kuşuydu Juliet de metinlerarası ilişkinin olduğu oyunlardandır. İkinci Katil’de Shakespeare’in önemli eserlerinden biri olan Macbeth oyununda adı bile verilmeyen bir katilin hikayesi merkeze alınır. Cadılar, bu oyunda da insanı kehanetleri ile güç ve hırs konusunda sınava tabi tutarlar. Tarla Kuşuydu Juliet’te ise Shakespeare’in ünlü oyunu Romeo ve Juliet oyunundaki âşıkların mutsuz evlilik hayatları ele alınır. Döneminde Romeo ile Juliet’i birbirine kavuşturmayarak büyük bir aşk hikayesi yaratan Shakespeare bu oyunda olaylara müdahale etmek üzere çiftin evine gelen bir oyun kişisidir. Bu çalışmanın amacı iki oyunda da başka metinlerden izlere yer verilmesinin nedenini, üretilen metne ana metnin katkısını ortaya çıkarmaktır. İki çağdaş oyunda da metinlerarasılığın izi sürülerek, tiyatro alanında metin yazımındaki arayış neticesinde kullanılan bu kavramın günümüz tiyatro sanatına katkısı üzerinde durulmuştur. Bu çalışmada metinlerarası ilişki üretilen oyunlardaki dil kullanımı, karakterizasyon, diyalog oluşturma vs. gibi dramaturjik verilerle incelenmiştir.
The intertext concept was first used by the French writer Julia Kristeva in the 1960s, and has been widely applied in many works of the postmodern era. In the broadest sense, the intertext relationship that can be defined as the inclusion of texts belonging to another period, writer or style in a text can also be seen in the dramatic structure of the novel, story, and play texts. During this period of the multiplicity in which the theatre art competes with the cinema and technology, the game writers enter new searches to be a way that the narrative language or style can also capture the audience of today. In this context, the game writers who prefer the intertext narrative style in other texts characters, event line, etc. It makes it available to the audience/readers by transforming the dynamics of its fictional worlds in a way that fits the audience/readers.Turkish playwriter Serhat Yiğit receives the pen The second murderer It was written by the Israeli writer Ephraim Kishon. The purpose of this study is to reveal the reason why the traces of other texts are placed in both games, the contribution of the main text to the produced text. In both contemporary games, the trace of intertext has been drawn, and the concept used as a result of the search for text writing in the theater field has been focused on the contribution of this concept to the contemporary theatre art. In this study, the intertext relationship was studied with dramatic data such as language use, characterization, dialogue creation, etc. in games produced.
Intertextuality in fact has been revealed in the 1960s by a French writer, Julia Kristeva, and has been extensively used in postmodern texts. The competition between drama and cinema/technology/media in polyphonic period forces playwrights to find out new ways of telling and styles to reach a new audience. In this respect, the playwrights who prefers to use intertextuality in their plays achieve to reach the reader/audience with a classic text through a different approach is the result of the movement of contemporary art. Turkish playwright Serhat Yiğit in his play, İkinci Katil and Israeli playwright Ephraim Kishon in his play Tarla Kuşuydu Juliet use intertextuality in their plays. In İkinci Katil the life of murderer is given even though he is not so important in Shakespeare’s play Macbeth. Also, the witches play an important role to foreground the psychology of humanbeing against the test of greed and power. In Tarla Kuşuydu Juliet, the playwright deals with the terrible marriage of Romeo and Juliet. Shakespeare who creates love affairs within these characters in his period also exists as a character in this play to solve the problems of Romeo and Juliet. The aim of this study is to find out the reason for using intertextuality in these two plays, the effect of the main text on the produced text, and the contribution of intertextuality to contemporary drama. The method is to focus on the data of dramaturgy instruments such as the usage of language, creation of dialogue, characterization, etc. to foreground the styles of the playwrights.
