Abstract:

Education is in a transformation with the changing and developing world. It is important to study the pedagogical field knowledge (PAB) that is at the center of the knowledge and skills of teachers who are the practitioners of education in conversion. Therefore, the study in Turkey between 2015-2020 years aimed at creating a general environment about PAB by studying the postgraduate theses published on PAB and guiding the researchers. In this study, which has a quality design, the meta-sentez research method has been used by adopting a quality understanding. According to the reviewed theses, the studies showed an increase in 2018 and 2019, usually the quality pattern was preferred, the most participating teachers and teachers were nominated. The majority of the studies, with the master's thesis, included different methods, such as concept maps, card grouping maps, drawings, reflective forms and Pap-eR, in addition to general data collection tools. In the oral fields where the theses related to PAB are most focused in mathematics and sciences, it has not been seen to be much. In the theses the most of the components of PAB are studied knowledge of understanding students, knowledge of teaching strategies and knowledge of the subject field. Participants were generally stated that the PAB levels were not at the desired level and their components were interacting. More work can be done in the oral fields related to PAB. At the same time, researchers can also focus on studies that will reveal the relationship between the PAB components in which students and faculty members are involved.
