Amaç: Bu araştırmanın amacı, çocuğu hastanede yatan ebeveynlerin, aile merkezli bakım uygulamalarına katılma durumları ve etkileyen faktörleri belirlemektir. Hastalar ve Yöntem: Bu kesitsel araştırma bir çocuk hastanesinin yataklı servislerinde çocuklarına refakat eden ebeveynler ile Temmuz 2014- Nisan 2015 tarihleri arasında gerçekleştirilmiştir. Araştırmanın örneklem grubunu araştırmaya katılmayı kabul eden 303 ebeveyn oluşturmuştur. Bulgular: Ebeveynlerin çoğunluğunun %95 hastanede çocuklarının bakımına katıldıkları,çok bakımına katıldıkları uygulamaların çocuğun temel fiziksel bakımını karşılamaya yönelik uygulamalar yemek yeme, hijyen gereksinimlerini karşılama ve ilaç uygulaması olduğu %37,6 belirlendi. Çocukları planlı bir şekilde hastaneye yatırılan ebeveynlerin sağlık profesyonellerine daha fazla soru sorabildiği belirlenmiştir p
Purpose: The purpose of this research is to identify the conditions and factors that affect the child’s parents who are in the hospital, participating in family-centered care practices. Patients and Method: This interim research was carried out between July 2014 and April 2015 with parents who accompanied their children in a child hospital’s bed services. The sample group of the study was formed by 303 parents who agreed to participate in the study. Results: The majority of parents participated in the care of their children at 95% in the hospital, the practices in which they participated in the multi-care were determined as practices aimed at meeting the basic physical care of the child, eating, meeting hygiene requirements and applying medications. It has been determined that parents who have planned their children to be hospitalized can ask more questions to health professionals.
