Bu araştırmada eğitimde yabancılaşma olgusuna ilişkin öğretmen görüşlerini ortaya çıkarmak amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaca ulaşabilmek için nitel araştırma yaklaşımı kullanılmıştır. Bu çalışmanın katılımcıları, amaçlı örnekleme tekniklerinden biri olan maksimum çeşitlilik örneklemesi kullanılarak seçilmiştir. Bu araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak araştırmacı tarafından hazırlanan 6 açık uçlu sorudan oluşan görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Paralelliklerine ve zıtlıklarına odaklanılarak bu araştırmada içerik analizi ile verileri yorumlamak için temalar ve alt temalar oluşturulmuştur. Çalışmanın bulguları literatürdeki ilgili araştırmalarla desteklenmiş, bu da bulguların güvenilirliğini artırmıştır. Araştırmadan elde edilen bazı sonuçlara göre; katılımcılar eğitimde yabancılaşma konusunda güçsüzlük hissettiren konuların başında moral ve motivasyon düşüklüğünün olduğunu ve ayrıca okuldaki resmi prosedürler hakkında çok fazla bilgi sahibi olmamanın da kendilerinde güçsüzlük oluşturduğunu belirtmişlerdir

In this study, it was aimed to reveal teachers' views on the phenomenon of alienation in education. In order to achieve this aim, qualitative research approach was used. The participants of this study were selected using maximum diversity sampling, which is one of the purposeful sampling techniques. In this study, an interview form consisting of 6 open-ended questions prepared by the researcher was used as a data collection tool. Focusing on their parallels and contrasts, themes and sub-themes were created to interpret the data through content analysis. The findings of the study were supported by relevant research in the literature, which increased the reliability of the findings. According to some of the results obtained from the research; the participants stated that low morale and motivation were the main issues that made them feel powerless in terms of alienation in education and that not having much knowledge about the official procedures in the school also created powerlessness in them
