Abstract:

Publishing magazine means sharing up-to-date information with stakeholders without any excessive delay. Scientific journals have played an important role since the beginning in transmitting current scientific knowledge, developing, spreading science and developing and strengthening scientific communication between scientists. It takes a short time to prepare for publication because of articles, the possibility of publishing more than one article in the same skin, the place in the research of different authors, the meeting of these articles with the readers in a magazine format, the publication in the same year multiple times in the same skin/number and the fastest possible delivery to the interested parties are the preferred reasons for the magazines. The purpose of this study is to provide information about the journals that publish research prepared in the field of information and document management (BBY) in Turkey. According to this, the only question trying to be explained in the study is "Which magazines are running the broadcasting activity in the BBY field in Turkey?" It is defined in form. Under what name and from what year, how many pages/number they have published, whether or not they have been published regularly, whether they are arbitrary, the purpose of publication, in which language they have published, whether they have received the (e)ISSN number and whether they have received the open access status. The research has taken advantage of the qualitative research method and the case study, and the document analysis technique has been applied for the analysis of data. The data of the study was obtained through internet research and library scan.
