Abstract In the mortality studies, the determination of the Life Expectancy and the construction of Mortality Tables, as a model that gives rise to it, occupy a fundamental space given the high degree of refinement of the information they provide. More than a decade ago, a predecessor study of this one, Life expectancy in Cuba in the 90s (Albizu-Campos Espiñeira, 2003), whose objective was precisely to cover the gnoseological vacuum that had been generated on the conditions of mortality of the Cuban population during that decade. What is at issue now is to give continuity to the exercise that was then carried out by offering the set of these tables for the entire population, for each sex, according to skin color (white, not white), nationally, regionally and provincial, so that the entire intercensal period, 2002-2012, is covered.
