The Ottoman timar system was introdueed firstly in Beysehir, Aksehir and in the vicinity of them on the land of Qaraman Principality in 1466; then it was finally established all over the provinee in 1483. After the subjugation of the region by Ottomans in 1483, Qaraman laws, rules, eustoms and habits whieh didn't go with Ottomans applieations were abolished by Mevlana Vildan. 501 sipahis were employed in 412 timars within the provinee. At least 167 of them (%33) were belong to loeal (from Qaraman origin) aristoeraey. lt is clearly seen that by inserting the loeal objeets into the timar system, the Ottoman sovereignty were tried to beestablishedflrmly
