Abstract:

Business success in the first quarter of the 21st century is evaluated not only by financial criteria, but also by the degree to which they fulfil the aspirations of business stakeholders. It is known that most of these expectations are met by corporate social responsibility activities. The purpose of this study is to share the meaningful results obtained by making a comparative content analysis for the corporate social responsibility studies of the companies included in the BIST 100 Index. In this context, the corporate social responsibility activities of companies included in the BIST 100 Index were evaluated. Content analysis was used in this study one of the qualitative research methods. In the results of study there is no difference between the activities of corporate social responsibility concentrated on by BİST 100, BİST 50 and BİST 30 companies, when a comparison is made in terms of sector groups, it has been determined that there are significant differences between corporate social responsibility themes.
