Abstract:

The concept of volunteering, which creates a comprehensive area of awareness in a universal dimension, has an important role in social life by hosting its activities that can be attracted to any age in many areas. In addition to making definitions on the concepts, individuals are involved in the practices within a certain time period and process assessments can help us understand their concepts more concrete. The research conducted by this thought has sought to thoroughly explore the views, opinions and thoughts of individuals who have participated or continue to demonstrate the concept of volunteering within a certain period of time. The purpose of this research is to be able to study the perceptions related to the experienced events, which is carried out in phenomenological design from the applications used in the research method of the quality. The researchers interacted with the participants in the research process and the interpretative phenomenology was studied. In the 2018-2019 educational year, the University of Çanakkale Eighteen March Basic Education Department is studying in the class teaching program and in the 2017-2018 educational year T.C. The Ministry of Youth and Sports, which is affiliated with the Ministry of Youth and Sports in the province of Çanakkale, has done voluntary teaching and 4 teachers who participate voluntarily in the research forms the work group of the research. The focus group interview technique and the data collection phase after the content analysis and the data are interpreted and presented in findings. From the findings obtained, it is seen that the teachers’ candidates are focusing especially on the scale of practice in the fields of teaching and volunteering. In addition to the points of view on the importance of the application, they presented recommendations for increasing the activities carried out voluntarily.
