Kıbrıslı yazar bay Hüsnü Feridun, 1927 yılında, Kıbrıs’ta, Mesarya Ovası’nda yer alan, şimdi Türk kesiminde bulunan Vadili köyünde doğmuştur. Đlk ve orta eğitimini adada bulunan çeşitli okullarda almıştır. Liseyi adada bitirdikten sonra, üniversite eğitimi almak için Đstanbul Üniversitesine gönderilmiş; Fen Fakültesi Kimya Bölümüne yazdırılmıştır. Yazar, bu fakülteden lisans diplomasını almakla yetinmemiş, aynı zamanda 1951 yılında ‘Fen Doktoru’ unvanını almış ve aynı yıl adaya geri dönmüştür. 1951’den 1969’a kadar adada maarif alanında çeşitli görevlerde bulunmuştur. Üst düzey bir bürokrat olarak, Kıbrıs’ta Türk Maarif Müdürü olarak, uzun yıllar, Rauf Denktaş ile birlikte çalışmıştır. Özel arşivinde çok sayıda resmi belgeyi saklamıştır.
Cypriot writer Mr. Hüsnü Feridun was born in 1927 in the village of Vadili, now located in the Turkish section, located in the Mesarya Ovası in Cyprus. He has received high and high education in various schools on the island. After completing high school on the island, it was sent to the University of Đstanbul to receive university education; it was printed to the Faculty of Sciences Department of Chemistry. The author was not enough to get a bachelor's degree from this faculty, he also received the title of "Fen Doctor" in 1951 and returned to the island in the same year. From 1951 to 1969 he served in various duties in the Maarif area on the island. As a senior bureaucrat, as the Turkish Maarif Director in Cyprus, he has worked with Rauf Denktaş for many years.
