Abstract:

Dünya edebiyatını 20. Yüzyılın ortalarında etkileyen epik tiyatro, Bertolt kuramsallaştırılmıştır. Türk tiyatrosu da epik tiyatro anlayışından etkilenmiştir. Brecht‟in eserleri Türkçeye çevrilmiştir. Sonrasında Haldun Taner, Vasıf Öngören gibi yazarlar Türk edebiyatında bu tiyatro anlayışına uygun eserler vermiştir. Haldun Taner‟in Keşanlı Ali Destanı adlı oyunu Brecht‟in oyunlarından etkiler taşımaktadır. Bu çalışmada Brecht‟in Kafkas Tebeşir Dairesi ile Taner‟in Keşanlı Ali Destanı arasındaki ortak yönler ele alınmıştır
