Bu çalışmanın amacı kayıt dışı istihdam, genç işsizlik ve ekonomik büyüme arasındaki ilişkiyi Türkiye için 2010 Ocak-2017 Eylül dönemini dikkate alarak araştırmaktır. Bu bağlamda ilk olarak kayıt dışı istihdam, genç işsizlik ve ekonomik büyüme arasındaki ilişkiye yer verilmiş, ardından konuyla ilgili literatür taraması tartışılarak değişkenler arasındaki ilişki ampirik olarak analiz edilmiştir. Çalışmanın bulgularına göre Türkiye’de kayıt dışı istihdam ile ekonomik büyüme arasında iki yönlü bir nedensellik ilişkisi, ekonomik büyümeden genç işsizliğe doğru ise tek yönlü bir nedensellik ilişkisi mevcuttur. Diğer yandan varyans ayrıştırması sonuçlarına göre tüm değişkenlerin öngörü hata varyansının kaynağı öncelikle kendi şoklarıdır. Ekonomik büyümenin varyans bölüşümünde yirminci dönemde kayıt dışı istihdamın ve genç işsizliğin payı sırasıyla %10.22 ve %3.80 olarak gerçekleşmiştir. Bu sonuca dayanarak ekonomik büyümenin hem kayıt dışı istihdamdan hem de genç işsizlikten etkilendiği söylenebilmektedir.
