ÖZET Sorumlu bir varlık olarak yaratılan insanoğlu, Allah’a kulluk yolunda çeşitli imtihanlara tabi tutulmaktadır. Yaşadığı bedenî ve nefsî sıkıntılar, hastalıklar zaman zaman maruz kaldığı çeşitli tabiî afetler, toplumsal olaylar da onun için birer imtihan vesilesi kılınmıştır. İşte insanın bu tür şartlar altında sınavı kazanabilmesi, onu isyana sürüklemeye çalışan şeytan ile nefsin heva ve heveslerine karşı azimli, dirençli ve dayanıklı olmasına bağlıdır. Söz konusu özellikleri övülen bir vasıf olarak zikredilen sabır kavramıyla ifade edebiliriz. Öyle ki bir insanın hem bu dünyada hem de aihrette başarılı olması, onun sabır konusundaki başarısına bağlanmıştır. İnsana imtihanında başarılı olması için en büyük katkıyı sunacak vasıfların başında ahlakî bir kavram olan sabır gelmektedir. Bu husus, hayatın çok süratli bir şekilde aktığı, insanların gidişata ayak uydurmakta zorlandığı ve psikolojik olarak olumsuz etkilendiği bir süreçte en çok ihtiyaç duyulan hususlardan biridir. Bu bağlamda kanaatimizce öncelikle sabır kavramının doğru anlaşılması gerekir. Bu sebeple biz de araştırmamızda sabır kavramının özellikle Kur’an çerçevesindeki anlamını tespit etmeye çalıştık. Bunun için de öncelikle sabır kavramının sözlük ve terim anlamları yanınında, yakın ve zıt anlamlarının neler olduğunu ve cahiliye nasıl bir mahiyet ifade ettiğini tespit etmeye çalıştık. Ardından da vahyin ona kazandırdığı yeni içeriğin neler olduğunu inceledik. Araştırmamızın temel hedefi ise, insan ve toplum için son derece önemli bir vasıf olan sabır kavramının doğru anlaşılmasına bir nebze katkı sunabilmektir. The physical and psychological difficulties in which he lives, the various natural disasters in which he has been exposed from time to time, and the social events have also made him a test opportunity. This is how man is able to win the trial under such conditions, depends on the devil who tries to push him to rebellion and his soul is determined, resistant and resistant against his heva and his enthusiasm. We can express these characteristics with the concept of patience mentioned as a honored attribute. So that a man’s success in this world and in the world is connected to his success in the subject of patience. Patientness is a moral concept that comes at the beginning of the qualities that will make the greatest contribution to success in the trial. This aspect is one of the most needed aspects in a process where life runs very quickly, where people are difficult to follow and are psychically negative. In this context, we must first understand the concept of patience. Therefore, we also tried to identify the meaning of the concept of patience in our research, especially in the framework of the Qur’an. For this, we first tried to identify the words and terms of the concept of patience, which are the meanings of close and opposite, and how the ignorant expresses a virtue. Then we looked at what the new content the revelation gave him. The main objective of our research is to be able to contribute to the proper understanding of the concept of patience, which is an extremely important attribute for man and society.
