Abstract:

This research is an adaptation work of social information teachers with the aim of developing a scale that will determine citizenship education ideologies. The data of the study was collected through Google Forms during the spring period of the 2019-2020 educational year. A total of 1099 teachers participated in the research staff in the field of social information. However, the data obtained from 49 teachers was extracted from the data set before analysis because it was a final value. For AFA and correlation analysis, SPSS 21 and DFA were used by AMOS. In the scale adaptation process, the linguistic compatibility of the scale was examined by foreign language experts after the scale 1050 social information was applied to the teacher and statistical analysis was carried out. The opening factor analysis shows that the total variation described is 50,403%. The factor loads of the measurement materials are calculated between .444 and .802. As a result of the verifying factor analysis, when the conformity index was studied, it was found that the quarter value in the freedom rate was 4,815 percent. Other compatibility indices were found as RMSEA = 0.060, SRMR = 0.06, GFI = 0.89 NFI = .91, CFI = 0.90 and IFI = 0.90. The Cronbach alpha ratio obtained in the reliability study of the measurement is calculated as 0.883. The 28 material scale, adapted to Turkey, consisting of three dimensions, has been demonstrated as a measurement tool for teachers of social information to determine the concepts of conservative, liberal and critical citizenship education.
