With the spread of television and its great place in our lives, it has greatly affected not only us, but also our children. Children’s channels, children’s programs and cartoons have managed to make children dependent on themselves. It is necessary to keep them away from any effect that will negatively affect their development in the 0-6 years of age, the most important of the developmental periods of children. Watching TV hours that are uncontrollable by a conscious parent or educator, progressively watched programs and cartoons will damage the physical-emotional-social-language development of children. As we live in the age of technology, we can’t raise our children out of these products. It is also important to note that the positive effects of the quality programs they monitor, taking into account the development and age of their children. With a conscious media literature, we can make sure our children are selective, distinguish and watch the correct and useful programs. The booking of the stories of the cartoon characters takes the event to a different dimension. Reading the stories of the cartoon characters children love, facilitates the work of educators and families in the positive message and value transmission in their acquisition of reading habits. But the point that should be noticed is that the broadcasting houses present works taking into account the children and the world of children without commercial concerns.
