Bu makale, çağdaş sanatın toplumsal işlevi kapsamında günümüz dünyasında küresel bir sorun olan mülteci sorunlarını ele alan sanatsal projeleri içermektedir. Mülteci sorunlarını uluslararası düzeyde ele alan sanatsal projelerin etkin gücünü ve sorunu ele almasına yönelik analitik çözümlemelerini irdelemektedir. Çağdaş sanat ve toplumsal sorunlar arasındaki bağlantıyı irdeleyip sanatsal üretimi kamusal alanlara taşıyarak toplum üzerindeki etkisini bir değerlendirmeye tutmayı hedeflemektedir. Sanatın politik bir kaygısı yoktur ancak, sanat görünürlüğü artıran bir güce sahip olduğundan politik ve siyasi mercilere sesini duyurduğunda sanat olmaktan çok daha öte bir gücü temsil eder. Bu bağlamda düşündüğümüzde günümüzde yaşanan savaşlar sonucunda yerinden edilen insanların sorununu ele alan bazı sanatsal projeler, evrensel düzeyde bir farkındalık oluşturmayı amaçlamaktadır. Bu makalede sanatın aracı rol üstlendiği bu sanatsal projelerden yalnızca birkaçına değinilmiştir. Bu sanat projeleri; 2015 yılında gerçekleştirilen Mülteciler İçin Sanat, Za’tari, Skoun, Hatların Dışını Boya; Göç Battaniyesi Projesi ve Gri Hayatları Renklendiriyoruz adlı projelerdir. Bu sanatsal projeler aracılığıyla sanatçılar, mültecilerin maruz kaldığı acı ve travmalara iyileştirici çıkışlar sağlayabilmek, umutsuzluklarından öte yaşanılabilir güzelliklerin de olduğuna yönelik teselli edici ve umut verici girişimlerde bulunmuşlardır. Bu projelerde sanatın toplumsal rolü ve sorumluluğu çerçevesinde, mültecilerin seslerini özgün ve evrensel bir dilde duyurabilmelerini sağlamak ve mülteci krizinin insanlığın ortak sorunu olduğuna dair farkındalık yaratma amaçlanmaktadır.
This article includes art projects addressing refugee issues, which are a global problem in today’s world within the framework of the social function of contemporary art. It focuses on the effectiveness and analytical solutions of the art projects that deal with refugee issues internationally. It aims to establish the connection between contemporary art and social problems and carry art production into public spaces to keep its impact on society evaluated. Art has no political concern, but because it has a power to increase visibility, it represents a much more power than being art when it proclaims its voice to political and political leaders. In this context, some artistic projects that address the problem of the people who have been displaced as a result of today’s wars are aimed at creating awareness at a universal level. In this article, only a few of these art projects in which the instrument of art took the role have been mentioned. These art projects are projects named Art for Refugees, Za'tari, Skoun, Painting Outside of Lines; Immigration Cover Project and Colouring Grey Life in 2015. Through these art projects, the artists have made comforting and hopeful efforts to provide healing outcomes to the suffering and trauma the refugees are exposed, and to the beauty that can be experienced beyond their desperation. The objective of these projects is to ensure that, within the framework of the social role and responsibility of art, refugees can speak their voices in an original and universal language and to raise awareness that the refugee crisis is a common problem for mankind.
