Abstract:

This study examined the methods of dealing with the difficulties of the Syrian refugees temporarily protected in Turkey, the levels of religiousness and the relationships between them. A scale used worldwide and reliably has been preferred to determine the methods of departure. The scale used to identify religious levels was determined by the previously developed Islamic religious scales by a psychometrically critical method. The text prepared by these scales has been collected by application of the survey technique to the volunteers selected by random sampling. All of the participants are Muslims living in the Kayseri province, over 15 years of age, and are temporarily protected. The research has shown that the greater the religious differences of refugees, the more functional and problem-oriented methods of dealing are used. As the extent of worship of religiousity in refugees increases, the use of positive reinterpretation, acceptance, emotional social support, means of social support and mental interference methods also increases. The use of the worship is reduced by the increase in the worship. In other words, the use of the method of dealing with denial has increased, and the use of the method of dealing with the functional humour and the use of material has decreased.
