So many results that aren't mine?
References in many bibliographies are sometimes referred to as "Surname, I", so the citations of academics whose Surname and initials are the same may occasionally interfere. This problem is often the case with citation indexes all over the world.

Orta Asya’dan Günümüze Karaköy Kilimleri
2021

Abstract:

Karakoy Rugs From Middle Asia To The Present
2021
Author:
Abstract:

The art of weaving has been one of the important fields of occupation of humankind since ancient times. Turks, on the other hand, achieved success in the field of weaving, especially carpet and rug weaving, in Central Asia. So much so that weaving, which is accepted as one of the material elements of Turkish culture, preserved its originality even when it encountered different geographies. Karaköy, which received almost no migration from outside after the Turks settled in Denizli, continued its traditions by preserving its Turkish characteristics. Rug weaving is at the top of the existing traditions. While weaving products such as sackcloth, rugs, saddlebags, and prayer rugs in the region, efforts were made to adhere to the weaving tradition from Central Asia. In particular, motifs from Central Asia were observed in the motifs woven into the middle and peripheral parts of the rugs. Central Asian motifs such as “tree of life, ram horn, wolf mouth" were frequently used in Karaköy rugs and hand weavings. In this article, it has been tried to prove that Karaköy rugs have preserved their Turkish characteristics from Central Asia, especially the motifs, until today.
