Today sport represents one of the areas which is closely related with many aspects of life and has a number of functions and operabilities. However, it has begun to be an industrial product recently. Innovation in sport, on the other hand, is a subject glamourizing and arousing astonishment every single time. Even though sport audience, participants or sportsmen seldomly wonder the origin of innovation in sport; innovation in sport has a great importance for states in terms of influencing the sport organizations, businesses, large organizers and even organizations being arranged. In addition, innovation in sport is generally considered an act of applying a new viewpoint of management, process, organization and marketing or presenting a new sport product. Innovation in sport is a means of easing the organization for sport organizations, an acquisition for sport businesses and a phenomenon bringing a prestige for countries arranging big organizations. Examining the international literature; many innovations which could be considered innovation applications in large sport organizations have been included in the organization operation. Thus, this study associated production, process, service, organization and marketing oriented innovations that could be classified as innovations in sport with sport by trying to create a different viewpoint in order to make sport innovation and examples more distinctive.
