Abstract:

The combined class concept is based on the essence that different groups are taught together by a single teacher. This is not only in Turkey, but in many countries of the world. There are the advantages and disadvantages of combined class applications. The creation of qualified teaching environments based on a structural approach in combined classes can make these classes advantageous. This is only possible with the training of professionally qualified teachers. In the 4th class, the classroom teaches in combined classes. However, since this course is theoretically processed two hours a week, teachers candidates cannot find the opportunity to apply the information they learned in this course in real environments. In this course, the presentation of the opportunity for observation and application in combined classes to teachers candidates is considered to be beneficial in terms of the training of qualified teachers. In this context, in the spring period of the 2017-2018 educational year, this course has been enabled to observe and apply class education in the combined classes of the three rural schools connected to the center of the church for four weeks. The purpose of this research is to reveal the opinions of the teachers candidates on joint classes. For this purpose, the data was collected with the help of the survey form where the semi-configured questions were found. According to the results of the analysis, the teaching candidates in combined classes show differences in their views on teaching and offer various recommendations.
