Özet:

This research aimed to investigate the motivational factors for the practice of futsal in school. The sample survey 140 adolescents participated in this research, male, 90 (64.4 %), the College Park Campus Guadalajara and 50 (35.6 %) of State College Liceu Caucaia aged 11-17 years old. The measurement instrument Motivation Inventory was used to Sports Practice consists of 19 items divided into three categories: sportsmanship, friendship and health/leisure. Factors in relation to sportsmanship and friendship / leisure, there are significant differences between the three groups. With group 3 the highest average income in the category sports and group 1 the highest average in the category Friendship/leisure. There were no significant differences in the health category. Against age also no significant differences. It is considered that the greater involvement of adolescents as the sport is due to the intrinsic characteristics of this age group, since subjects considered more important in this study were develop skills, work out maintain their health, have fun and because I like.
